“It’s our first thing coming out after you know building a brand and traveling a lot and so, a lot of emotions around everything from radio to just getting another song out.”

  Tenpenny describes the sound of the songs from his self-titled EP.

“I mean it’s got some rock in it, some, some blues I guess, but more than anything I don’t really know the sound specifically, but I would say it’s more, I like to call it authentic.  I wanna say I want you to believe it.  The lyrics are, you know, everything I believe in and what I actually do so… from the rock influences to the country lyrics, but as a whole I would just say it is believable.”
