“Rust is a love song that I wrote about my wife and I really had a unique vision for this song. I wanted to write the realest love song that I can in a world where I feel like a lot of love songs are only focused on the highs, on the positives and it kind of can seem unrelatable if you’re not in that exact season, and there’s a lot of mountains and valleys in real relationships. But the ones that stand the test of time are the realest, and so that’s what the song is about. Hope you guys like Rust.”
