“So I’m super excited about the song Better Boy that’s coming out. My friend Taylor Phillips wrote it with a guy named Hardy. You probably heard of him before. They sent me the song, I heard it. It was a really rough voice memo. You could hear the bus in the background. But it was so special. It resonated with me. The lyrics, the melody, everything. And I asked if I could sing it and they said absolutely. So we went ahead cut the song, and I started teasing it on socials and playing it live and it seems like it’s really resonating with people in a special way so I couldn’t be more excited to get it out there.“

“So Oil Spot, this song you’re probably wondering what the heck it’s about. It’s really truly a song about you know, getting over a past relationship. And sometimes memories will come back and those kinds of things and my friends sent me this song and I heard it for the first time and I just fell in love with it. And it was one of those songs that sat in my files on my iPhone forever. I kept going back, kept listening to it. And I’m like, I’m so obsessed with the song I just recorded for real and we did so this one just has a really easy feeling about it. It makes you feel like you’re driving down the road and it feels great. So I hope you guys love it as much as I do.“
