NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Arista Nashville/Sony Music Nashville rising star Adam Doleac released his debut album, Barstool Whiskey Wonderland. Listen here.
Yeah, Barstool Whiskey Wonderland. I can’t take all the credit for it. I remember I showed up that day, I wrote that song with Lindsey Rhymes and Jonathan Singleton. And I had the title I wanted to write a song called Wonderland. And it was just you know, I wonder where you are, I wonder who you’re with, wonder what you’re drinking. I wonder if you’re missing me right now. I wonder if you’re wondering about me. And I remember Jonathan at some point said, what about Barstool Whiskey Wonderland and I was like, yes, that is really cool. And I think I love that because it creates a picture for people to see when they’re listening to that that song and this record. It takes you somewhere. When we hear the word wonderland, we all have a wonderland in our head. It doesn’t matter if it’s the same as mine as it is for you. For me, it’s you know, a little dive bar in east Nashville, you know, but for you, it could be anything and so it puts your mind somewhere when you’re listening to this song. Or all these songs, you have a frame of reference. And I just. I loved that. I loved the picture that that created and I love that you know, if I were to have a bar on Broadway in Nashville one day, I think that’d be a great name for a bar Barstool Whiskey Wonderland. I’d go in that bar. Just like I’d listen to this record. So I think it’s a great name and I hope it pulls people in and I hope they like what they find when they when they get inside.
