MITCHELL TENPENNY: ON RECENTLY RELEASED PIANO VERSION OF “BUCKET LIST” (AUDIO & VIDEO EMBED)
I’m so excited to do a different version of “Bucket List” for a few reasons, one being that it’s one of my favorite songs that I’ve ever written. I think the lyrics really speak during this time, and it’s something that we all need to hear and something that I needed to hear. Sometimes when you break a song down and you play it acoustic or you play it on the piano, you hear the lyrics a little bit different, it’s a little softer, more intimate. And that’s why the first time I ever sat behind a piano and played it, I knew I wanted to do a version that was mainly just piano, just piano vocal and kind of sing the song as hard as I could and make it as believable as possible and sing these lyrics that I loved to write. I hope you enjoy this version as much as I do.
