Chris Young is “going big” for his Losing Sleep World Tour in 2018, and one of the many decisions he had to make involving a massive outing like this was…who is he going to bring out on the road with him. Chris turned to two young country acts that he has a lot of faith in–Kane Brown and LANCO. Chris knows Kane very well from spending the summer of 2017 out on the road with him on the Jason Aldean They Don’t Know tour, to contributing to Kane’s albums and EP. Chris says ““Yeah I did spend all summer with Kane and you know he’s an incredible guy, an incredible person and an incredible artist and I’ve just loved getting to know him from you know the very very beginning writing with him for his EP and then seeing just how he’s taken off and exploded as an artist and I couldn’t think of anybody better to be that middle slot on this tour other than Kane Brown” Chris also has a relationship with the guys in LANCO, “Those guys are amazing. I’ve gotten to know them over the course of, not only shows, but also just random hangs that we’ve ended up in through industry functions and just love all of those guys for who they are and love their music obviously, ‘Greatest Love Story’ is taking off, and I’ve said ‘love’ like 8 times in this one sentence but that’s all I can say, I mean they’re incredible and I love that I’m gonna have them out on my tour.” When Chris announced the tour and his openers back in October, he had no doubt that by the time they all took the stage on January 11th at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana that “What Ifs” and “Greatest Love Story” would be number-one songs–and he was right!
