Congrats to Maren Morris who was named ACM New Female Vocalist Of The Year! Maren is already having a stellar 2017, that includes a Grammy Award, a new single, “I Could Use A Love Song,” and now an ACM Award. Maren still has more opportunities April 2nd to walk away with additional ACM trophies, as she is also nominated in the categories of  Female Vocalist Of The Year, Album Of The Year (for HERO), and Single Of The Year (for her song “My Church’). Even before all the awards and nominations started rolling in this year, Maren was getting used to her new life of hectic schedules, and started to find a way to remember these early days of her career. Maren shares “I’ve started journaling a lot just to remember what has happened every day because it’s all happening at once.” The way things are going for her, Maren will be filling up a lot of journals.

“I have that moment everyday honestly. I feel like it’s chaotic and there is a lot of stuff going. I’m in different cities every night, yeah I think the most important thing is just feeling present and I’ve started journaling a lot just to remember what has happened every day because it’s all happening at once. So you have to have some totem of normalcy. So I’ve started writing things down even if they seem inane in the moment. I want to be able to look back and really be able to remember everything that happened to me and not take it for granted.”
