YOU’RE A DOLL: Stars Join in for Project Paper Doll

More than 50 celebrities — including such stars as Alan Jackson and Carrie Underwood, racing hero Dale Earnhardt, Jr., pop stars Christina Aguilera and Kelly Clarkson, and many, many more — are helping make the holidays and the days ahead brighter for the young patients of Nashville’s Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. This Friday, November 28th, marks the launch of the second annual Project Paper Doll charity initiative, an auction fundraiser where fans can bid online at eBay for specially decorated wooden dolls shaped in the likeness of the hospital’s paper doll logo, with each doll personalized to reflect the donor — from the playful hair styles adorning the Brooks & Dunn doll to the island look of Kenny Chesney‘s autographed contribution. New dolls will be available for auction on December 3rd and December 10th, with the group up for bids beginning this Friday including the dolls from Kenny and Brooks & Dunn, as well as Brad Paisley, Pat Green, Keith Urban, Merle Haggard, Craig Morgan, Tennessee Titans Vince Young and Keith Bulluck, and others.

  • These dolls make wonderful holiday gifts while supporting an amazing institution.
