After hitting number-one on the radio and last week earning an American Country Awards nomination for Single of the Year: New Artist, Tyler Farr is following his smash “Redneck Crazy” with a single that he co-wrote called “Whiskey in My Water.” And coming off “Redneck Crazy,” it’s a song that Tyler says will definitely show fans a different side of his musical personality. “‘Whiskey in My Water’ is definitely more of a little bit softer side of me, as soft as it could be. And it’s talkin’ about a girl, and not a ‘Redneck Crazy’ type of way. It’s more about a girl that you’re head-over-heels for and think she’s the best thing since sliced bread, and it’s a country boy’s way of tellin’ a girl that he’s really into her by sayin’, you know, ‘You’re the moon in my shine, the whiskey in my water.’ So yes, it’s definitely a different take and a different aspect for people to look at me in a different light, so I’m excited for ‘em to hear that and hear the rest of the album, and, you know, dig a little deeper into who I really am as an artist.”
