audio  Tyler Farr says that he’s feeling the momentum from the growing success of his new hit, “Whiskey in My Water.” (:56)
“We just got done with a 25-day run out West and sold out about every club out there, which…I’ve played ‘em before, openin’ for Lee Brice acoustic, and now we’re sellin’ ‘em out, and it’s…you can start to feel the momentum, and it was the same kind of feelin’ I felt when ‘Redneck Crazy’ hit about Top 30, Top 20: you can really start to feel a build. And not only another song build, but the whole thing comin’ together as an artist and striving to get to that next level, ‘cause that’s the goal right now is the…you know, we’re an opening act, but the next step is to get to that middle slot and then get another single and another hit. And you know it’s always gonna be pressure, but the main thing is havin’ fun doin’ it, and you know, as long as I can wake up and sing country music, it’s a good day. So I try not to think about it too much, and go out there and just play, play, play, and just hope and pray for the best.”
