“Songs like this I was glad my mom had me in vocal training since I was in seventh grade, ’cause you learn to use that upper register and learn vocal control and when to be soft — and I learned that from watchin’ my buddies like Lee Brice that can just whisper a note and hit it right on the money.”
Tyler Farr says that songs like his current single, “Hello Goodbye,” are right up his alley. (:16)
“I lean towards more of the ‘Hello Goodbye’ type of songs just ’cause those are my…what I love to do. I grew up listenin’ to those [George] Jones and [Merle] Haggard songs and Vince Gill, and I love to do it, and I love to, you know, just belt out a good chorus and a melody, and this allows me to do that.”
