Trisha Yearwood is no stranger to appearing on TV–she’s guest starred on several shows, including a reoccurring  role on the late 90s series JAG, her talk show appearances, award shows, and of course she’s the host of her own popular Food Network show Trisha’s Southern Kitchen…but now she’s signed up for something that’s actually making her nervous. Sunday March 20th, Trisha will be taking part in the live-action TV musical version of The Passion. Airing on Fox, the two-hour musical will tell the story of Jesus, with a modern twist. Which role with Trisha be playing? The Virgin Mary. Trisha says that rehearsals have been intense, and she’s had a tough day, her biggest fan steps in to pep her up…oh, and that biggest fan, is Garth Brooks. “My guilty pleasure if I’m flipping channels is, I love HGTV, so I love to see them flip those houses, or change some decrepit thing that’s falling apart and make it into something new, cause that’s not my gift. I love to see it done, but I could never do that. So those are the types of shows that I gravitate toward.”
