Tenille Townes:
It is such an honor to get to be a part of “Fooled Around And Fell In Love” as a song. I’ll never forget the day in the studio hearing all of those voices that I look up to so much coming through the headphones and singing along. Hearing my voice in the mix, it’s surreal. I just love everybody’s different styles, I love how everybody as an artist has something different to say and is so unique, and I just think it’s incredible the way that Miranda Lambert brought us together for this song. And now celebrating this as a CMA nomination is just crazy. It’s so wild to me that this is real life, and I’m thrilled to get to be a part of this song, and my first ever CMA nomination that I get to celebrate with people I’m so thankful to call friends.

Tenille Townes:
Getting to sing “Fooled Around And Fell In Love” at the end of every show on the “Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour” last year was so amazing. It was the highlight of my night every single time, getting to walk out on that stage, standing next to the legend that is Miranda Lambert and just all be together up there playing in front of crowds who are just smiling back at you. I mean watching and learning from Miranda on tour and having the honor to get to open up for her is just insane, and I learned so much from the way that she shares music and the way that she just takes care of people on and off the stage, and getting to be a part of that finale singing this song every night was just a dream.
