SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE: ARTIST STORIES & CONTENT FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY (AUDIO & VIDEO)
Probably the thing that I’m most excited about for is just the Fourth of July itself. Obviously last year, no one really got a Fourth of July experience and so this year with things starting to open up, it looks like it’s gonna be a lot of fun.
My fourth of July tradition that I have with my dad actually is we always go out and just look for a local fireworks stand and buy as much stuff as we possibly can. So we don’t really take a truck and just whatever we come back with anybody that lives near them on the street gets gets a pretty good show.
“Hey it’s Corey Kent wishing you a happy and safe 4th of July.”
Fourth of July every year comes the day after my birthday. So, I like to pretend that the fireworks are for me, shared with this great country of ours. This Fourth of July, normally I’m hungover because it’s the day after my birthday, but I’ll be pregnant this year. So, I’ll be in some form of water, floating.
My Fourth of July traditions definitely involve spending time with my family, all my nieces and nephews and siblings. Eating lots of good food and finding some sort of water and laying around playing in the sun all day. That’s what makes Fourth of July so special, I think.
“Hey this is Georgia Webster wishing you a happy 4th of July.”
“Hey it’s Kane Brown have a happy and safe 4th of July.”
This fourth of July, I think I’m playing a show so I’m excited to play a show. One and then, B., being on Fourth of July. Last Fourth of July was a little different than most fourth of July’s as everyone can relate. So, I’m excited to get back out there and play a show.
For Fourth of July this year I’m most excited about getting out and having the grill out with the family. We always do it every year. So, this year we’re going to do it up right.
Kat: Hey guys, it’s Kat and Alex.
Alex: As you guys get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July just remember you can’t hold a firework in your hand and light it up.
Kat: Oh no!
Alex: Not a good idea.
Kat: And, do not jump across fireworks while they are being popped.
Alex: In other words, live music you like and you’re in Nashville. Brad Paisley is going to be playing out on Broadway so be sure to check it out Fourth of July have a safe one. We love you guys.(Makes Firework sound) That was was the firework (Both Laugh)
“Hey it’s Luke Combs wishing you a safe and happy 4th of July. Thank you to all of you out there that have sacrificed so much for our freedom.”
Fourth of July growing up for me was I think probably a lot like it is for everyone else. Fireworks hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, beer, you know, pretty typical Fourth of July festivities in North Carolina.
“Hey y’all it’s Megan Moroney wishing you a happy and safe 4th Of July.”
I think the thing I’m most excited for about the Fourth of July this year is getting to celebrate outside, getting to get back to normal, having a good party, having some friends over, maybe drink some good cold beer, but celebrating our independence. It’s always an amazing thing.
I don’t have any specific Fourth of July traditions. I just love to get some fireworks, shoot them off. Some friends have some people over have a cookout grill, but nothing in particular just love to have a good time.
“Hey it’s Morgan Wade wishing you all a safe and happy 4th of July.”
“Hey this it’s Nate Smith wishing you a safe and happy 4th of July.”
I’m super excited about Fourth of July this year, because obviously last year for the July was a little bit different. So I missed that camaraderie that you get where you get to get together everybody do some grillin’ and shoot awesome fireworks. So I’m going to be having a super old school classic all American Fourth of July this year with my friends and family.
I’m so excited this fourth of July to get back on the water. It’s so exciting for us to be out of our house and doing things that we love and summer on the water is is that’s everything so cannot wait to get out there. Happy Fourth of July, everybody!
It is so exciting getting to celebrate the Fourth of July as a Canadian because I am so grateful to get to be here in Nashville chasing this music dream with all of these wonderful American friends of mine.
Usually on the Fourth of July back in Shreveport, it’s like a firework show that growing up, we will always go to every year. I haven’t been in the past few years. Just because I was moving around. I was in Los Angeles, but this fourth I don’t know what we got planned. I mean, the world should be open. They say it’ll officially opened up July 1. So yeah, the fourth. I mean, I don’t know what I have planned, but I know I’ll be having a good time.
