Mitch: “The story behind the song it’s a simple one. Tom texted me a few months ago and he was like “I had this chorus I did to start goes like this,” and he sang the first line “Good Beer is a cold one” and had all the melody, and immediately I was like “that’s friggin sick, we need to make something of this.” And then we took it in with our buddies Rocky and Dozzi”
Tom: “Um, yeah. And we finished a song with them one night at our house, and we all, there was this energy in the room. I think we all knew we were onto something that felt special and felt like, I don’t know, cool. And it was something different for us too because we haven’t. We haven’t released a song about beer and we certainly like to drink it. So yeah, we hope you don’t hate it.”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Arista Nashville spirited duo Seaforth – named for the Sydney, AUS suburb where they met as children and grew together into a musical force – has teamed up with their former tour mate Jordan Davis for “Good Beer,” their new track available today. Listen here.
“We haven’t put music out in a minute, but we got tired of shedding tears and wanted to come into 2022 swingin’,” joked the pair’s Tom Jordan and Mitch Thompson. “We wrote ‘Good Beer’ with two of our best mates, Rocky Block and Jordan Dozzi, and we think it’s a fun way to give folks a folks a sneak peek at a new project we’re excited to share soon. Obviously having Jordan Davis on this track is exciting for us, he’s a full-blown legend. We’re fans of his and now friends, so we’re stoked to share it with him too.”
“Good Beer” is the duos first release since their viral hit “Breakups,” which earned critical acclaim from the likes of Billboard, Wide Open Country, People, and more and earned over 250 million global on-demand streams. This new offering kicks off 2022 with Seaforth’s signature good vibes and cheeky humor. The accompanying music video will premiere today (1/7) at 6:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. CT. “Although our golf skills are comparable to a sleeping humpback whale, as soon as we saw Blythe Thomas’ treatment for the video, we knew it was the perfect fit. We had such a great day filming it as we got to just have fun and show our personality…plus we got some super trendy outfits out of it. The whole thing is lighthearted, much like the song. We hope everyone digs it!”
Fresh off their opening stint on Jordan’s BUY DIRT TOUR, the pair are slated to appear at C2C London on March 13 and Tortuga Music Festival on April 8.
