I love being a songwriter in Nashville. I love getting to put out music to fans. This round of recording was really interesting. It just felt like each tune was sort of epic in its own way. And, “Every Over Memory” just felt like such a nostalgic track. I remember writing it and thinking ‘Man there’s just so much cool cadence here’ and just the way the words came out and it just felt like each picture was really amazing. And, it’s so cool because it feels like each line of the song feels like an emoji. It’s like a feeling and it’s a picture that you can just really grab on to. So, I hope you like it. This is my new tune “Every Over Memory.”

“‘Every Other Memory’ just feels like such a nostalgic track,” said Hurd. “It’s so cool because it feels like each line in the song is almost like an emoji. It’s a feeling and it’s a picture that you can just really grab onto. The way the words came out, it just felt like each picture was really amazing.”
Hurd co-wrote the new track with Nathan Spicer and Cole Taylor. “Every Other Memory” follows Hurd’s Gold-certified Top 20 hit “To A T,” and is his first taste of new music since releasing his Platonic EP last year, which “balances commercial viability with a very grounded and organic songwriting approach” (American Songwriter).
“Country music’s next big star” (AOL) recently released two live videos from his headlining PLATONIC TOUR: “timely message of solidarity” (ABC News Radio) “Wish for the World” and his “haunting” (Billboard) cover of Taylor Swift’s “False God,” which received high praise from its original composer.
