Restless Road “Hometown Tonight” Story Audio

When we sat down to write “Hometown Tonight”, we wanted to write something that felt romantic and nostalgic, but at the same time, very energetic and fast paced. And there was no one better to do that with than our co-writer, Jacob Durrett. He really helped make this song come to life. And this song is one that we cannot wait to perform live on tour. It’s very rock and roll very high energy. And this song is all about making someone that you care about feel like they’re at home, no matter what.

Country trio Restless Road today released a new song, “Hometown Tonight,” from their upcoming project. Restless Road consists of Zach Beeken, Colton Pack, and Garrett Nichols, who wrote the track. Watch the video here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJfFm_GNuQ4

“We were really excited to be able to get to release some more new music for the fans before we hit the road in a few weeks,” said Nichols. “The reaction to our single and video for ‘Bar Friends’ has been amazing, and we wanted to put out ‘Hometown Tonight’ as a follow up so people can sing along.”

Earlier this year the group spoke with the Atlanta Constitution Journal detailing their experiences that led them to going out on the road for the upcoming Blessed & Free Tour with Multi-Platinum artist Kane Brown.

“We wrote Home Tonight earlier this year, and knew we wanted to add it to our set list on tour. It felt like the right time be able to put out some new music as we continue to work on our album and before open for Kane on the Blessed & Free tour,” added Pack.

This is the trio’s third track released under their major-label signing with joint venture 1021 Entertainment / Sony Music Nashville. “Hometown Tonight” follows the release of their uplifting track “Bar Friends.”

Restless Road has been featured by The Today Show, EXTRAAmerican SongwriterBillboard,  CMT, and  People. The band made their official debut at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this year, where the trio performed “It Ain’t Easy” and the fan-favorite track “Bar Friends.” Restless Road will next open for Kane Brown’s Blessed & Free Arena Tour later this year. The tour will visit thirty-five markets across the country including LA’s Staples Center (10/2) and New York’s Madison Square Garden (1/15 ).

About Restless Road
Made up of three different but complementary voices, Restless Road is a powerhouse country band with one of the most auspicious breakout stories of 2020. Featured in BillboardCMT‘s “Off The Road,” and EXTRA, the trio’s powerhouse harmonies and soul-baring lyrics put them on numerous 2021 “Ones to Watch” lists including Pandora’s Artist to Watch lineup, as members Zach Beeken, Colton Pack, and Garrett Nichols continue to rack up millions of on-demand streams. As NBC’s Today Show    host Hoda Kotb put it: “That harmony…you feel it in your soul.” Since Zach and Colton joined forces after meeting on a singing competition (where they met future collaborator Kane Brown), Restless Road has stood out as one of the most promising groups in country music. When Garrett came onboard in 2015, they knew they had something special. In February 2020, the trio unveiled their debut self-titled EP, which includes “Take Me Home,” featuring Kane Brown. A short year later, they dropped their latest track, “Took One Look At Her Momma,” which American Songwriter praised for its “captivating melody and lyrics that those in a relationship could benefit from hearing.” Restless Road recently earned themselves the opening slot of Kane Brown’s “Blessed & Free Tour,” which runs from October 2021 to February 2022.
