Nashville, TN – RCA Records Nashville noteworthy new artist Rachel Wammack celebrates the holiday season with her soulful rendition of “This Christmas” and “O Holy Night” as part of a Live from Thirteen Performance. Wammack’s new holiday music is available now at all digital retailers (“This Christmas” HERE and “O Holy Night” HERE).

Fans will be able to witness her spin on the holiday classics as she performs this afternoon on WSMV’s “Today in Nashville” (12/5 on Ch. 4 at 2:00 PM/CT).The Christmas covers follow Wammack’s climbing, debut single “Damage,” which continues to be applauded by critics as she has “established a compelling presence” (Sounds Like Nashville). With “country, soul, and pop running through her veins” (The Bobby Bones Show), Wammack has become a constant “2019 Artist to Watch” as she recently garnered recognition from Pandora and Music Row.

“It’s almost unexplainable how much this year has meant to me,” said the Muscle Shoals native. ”I’ve been playing piano, singing, and writing songs since I was a kid and for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m meant to do this. I’ve been able to see firsthand how people are accepting my music and connecting on a personal level, which is what I always wanted.”

Releasing holiday music on the heels of her self-titled debut EP raises the bar on an exceptional year.

“There have been so many wonderful highs from playing the Opry and the Ryman for the first time and putting out my EP as well as my debut single ‘Damage.’ It seemed fitting to end the year with two of my favorite Christmas songs as a ’Thank you’ to all of the fans who have supported me.”

Proving “the rising star is here to stay” (Radio.com), her wildfire momentum continues to grow as she showcases “an undeniable air of confidence and sincerity when she performs” (Taste of Country) on the road with Brett Young on his “CMT on Tour: Here Tonight.” Fans will have an inside look at the run this weekend during “CMT Hot 20 Countdown” (12/8 and 12/9 on CMT at 8:00 AM/CT). Additionally in partnership with YouInspire.org and Davidson County Sheriff’s department, Wammack will continue to spread holiday cheer on Dec. 19 at the Tennessee Prison for Women to remind them of their meaning, worth, and importance.

“All in all, this year has been such a blessing and I can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store,” Wammack enthused.

The 24-year-old Muscle Shoals native is a “dynamic new Country voice for the genre” (Rolling Stone) with her “deep-rooted, classic sound” (Wide Open Country) influenced heavily by the rich music history from her hometown of Muscle Shoals. Throughout her adolescent years, she expressed her art in songwriting, storytelling and the high school band, before earning a college degree from the University of North Alabama. At the age of 17, Wammack was discovered by a Sony Music Nashville executive at a piano restaurant which led to her record deal five years later and the release of her self-titled EP in April, helmed by award-winning producer Dann Huff. Showcasing a “powerful, raw, honest collection” (All Access) the four-song introductory features her autobiographical debut single “Damage,” which she co-wrote with award-winning songwriters Tom Douglas and David Hodges. Wammack has been named one of Rolling Stone’s “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know,” Bobby Bones’ “Women of iHeartCountry,” CMT’s “Next Women of Country” and received a standing ovation during her Grand Ole Opry debut.
