Old Dominion‘s new single “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart” kind of picked up right where their recent number-one “Song For Another Time” left off. “Song For Another Time” used a bunch of classic song titles to tell its story, and “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart” opens up with the question “I wonder if Jack and Diane ever made it.” When asked about it, Old Dominion lead singer Matthew Ramsey responded “Yeah it is kind of a natural flow. We’re fans of music and you know that is how we have lived our whole life is with music and that’s our soundtrack and maybe everyone does that but maybe us musicians more so than others. We just live our life by it and for it and so it makes sense that those are things that come up in our music lyrically and instrumentally. We lean on the greats and think that is one that is a great one.” Seriously, who didn’t want to be having a chili dog outside the Tastee Freeze?
