Old Dominion – Odie’s Announcement (AUDIO)
Brad: You guys!
Geoff: What’s up Brad?
Brad: We got a new bar!
Matthew: Yeah we do!
Brad: Opening up summertime of 2024. What’s it called?
Geoff: It’s called “Odie’s” almost called it Memory Lane. But thank God Guy Fieri stepped in.
Matthew: Yeah, he said that was the worst name…
Brad: Said it was the worst game of all time. So we changed it to Odie’s, which I think it’s pretty damn good.
Matthew: It’s a play on our name, but it’s in the spirit of the bar. It’s not you know, we’re not gonna like Old Dominion-it in everyone’s face. So we just thought this is a way to pay…homage? Homage, homage homage?
Trevor: To the songwriting community. Yeah, and some live music, but also just be a cool place to hang.

Old Dominion – Odie’s Location (AUDIO)
Brad: Where’s it gonna be?
Matthew: Oh, yeah, Midtown
Geoff: Midtown. Yeah.
Matthew: Yeah, right. Right, right around winners and losers.
Brad: Yes! And other iconic bars: Red Door, winners, losers. Hopefully we can add Odie’s to the list.
Trevor: An area that has a lot of history for us.
Matthew: Yeah, we used to play right across the street at a place called Blue Bar, which is no longer there. So, there’s a lot of history there.
Brad: And we often go down to Red Door or Losers after writing a song in the early afternoon to drink some frosty beverages.
Trevor: You know, and who wants to fight the traffic downtown? Come to Midtown
.
Old Dominion: Odie’s Vibe (AUDIO)
Matthew
: I mean the vibe is all good right? Because we are the No Bad Vibes guys, Rrght? So that’s really the goal.
Brad: Leave your bad vibes at Red Door
Matthew: Yeah, just a nice fun relaxing place to chill and I think there’s gonna be some outdoor spaces and indoor spaces, a big stage, a big live room for lots of up and coming bands and songwriters to come showcase.
Trevor: And you never know yours truly might pop in, play a couple songs. Yours truly meaning, ours truly, us truly.
Matthew: And I was talking today about maybe just popping in and bartending every now and then.
Trevor: That’s a good idea.
Brad: That sounds like fun.
Trevor: And in the true spirit of songwriters. I think whoever has the number one song of the week that week should should drink for free on Friday. What do you think?
Matthew: Oh, wow, you just made a policy.
Trevor: You never know. I don’t know if that’s going to happen. Stay tuned.
Brad: All right. Odie’s. 2024. Summertime. Check it out.
