OLD DOMINION: A New Version Of Old

Old Dominion is finding success again with their new song “No Such Thing As A Broken Heart”–which is the first single from their new album Happy Endings, which comes out in August. Old Dominion’s Trevor Rosen says that the band always tries to put out the best songs they can, but their is not mindset that they must top what they did before, “We never set out to top ourselves, I don’t think. I mean there’s a certain amount of pressure. You know, we are songwriters but we have written thousands of songs. We are constantly writing songs, some good, some not good. But at some point, we just look at the songs and go, ‘Do we love this song? If we didn’t know this song would we want to hear it again?’ I don’t know that we have specifically tried to top the other one… It’s just a new version of us.” A new version that continues to make awesome music.

The title was definitely hard to come up with.”
Matthew Ramsey from Old Dominion: “Yeah, for sure.”
Trevor: “It fell out of the sky, so thankfully we had help.” (laugh)
