NOW That’s What I Call a Great Deal!  Jake Owen talks about the reasons he thinks “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You” has become such a huge fan-favorite. (:41)
“From day one, I’ll never forget it…we were in Charlottesville, Virginia. I played that song live, and we got a standing ovation the first time we played it, and every time since then that we’ve played it, people just stand up at the end and give us a standing ovation. And I think a lot of the reason is I just try to pour everything I have into that song, performance-wise and emotionally, and I think that’s a song that speaks the truth for most people. It’s the way that I think guys would want to feel and have…be known to their woman. ‘Don’t Think I Can’t Love You’ is my favorite song I’ve ever recorded and may be my favorite of all…I mean, it’s just a great song.”
