What is the Story Behind After Midnight?

Nate: Alright so the way this song came about, so it’s actually a really long story, but the short story of the song is that Tyler sent me the song and I freaked out. I loved it so much, and I thought about cutting it, and I never cut it, and you were like what’s going on, are you cutting the song, this is so weird. Eventually I was like okay I do want to do this song, but what are the chances, what are the chances, that you put it out with me.

Tyler: Yeah that was one of the best calls of, of certainly this year that got me super pumped. I love this song, I love Nate, I love this song for Nate, but the fact that he asked me to stay on this song, man this is a dream come true. I’m pumped for this song, pumped to do it together.
