  • Chris Young will be among the celebs stepping up to the plate as servers on April 13th when former Tennessee Titan Kevin Carter hosts his 9th Annual “Waiting for Wishes” Celebrity Waiter’s Dinner at Nashville’s The Palm. Co-hosted by Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts, the $500 reservations for the exclusive occasion go to benefit The Kevin Carter Foundation — with its focus on youth and character development — as well as The Make-a-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The star-studded evening is set to feature an array of celebrities from the worlds of sports and music, including Keith Anderson, Sarah Buxton, Julie Roberts, GAC’s Storme Warren, Titans head coach Jeff Fisher, sports commentator and former Cincinnati Bengal Cris Collinsworth, and many more.

    Alan Jackson is celebrating his new album, Freight Train, with an array of TV on tap, including GAC’s The Collection: Alan Jackson — a two-part edition debuting on back-to-back nights this Saturday and Sunday at 8pm, ET…and on Sunday, look for Alan on A&E’s popular Private Sessions, premiering at 9am, ET. There’s more good AJ coming April 14th on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno and then on April 16th on the syndicated Ellen DeGeneres Show.

  • Great country music was a big part of the soundtrack to the 2008 Billy Graham biopic Billy: The Early Years, and the film has just recently been released on DVD.
