- Congratulations to Miranda Lambert, whose smokin’-hot Four the Record album continues to fly out of the stores — digital and otherwise! She’s number-one for the second week in a row on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums sales chart after scoring an all-time record last week, becoming the first artist in the chart’s 47-year history to have each of her first four albums debut at number-one! In support of the album, the newly re-crowned two-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year has been making the TV rounds in a big way, with multiple appearances this week. And if you missed her on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Monday, you can see her performance of her current smash, “Baggage Claim,” online here, and you can watch her performances on last night’s Jimmy Kimmel LIve! for “Baggage Claim” here, and here for the song, “Mama’s Broken Heart.”
- In October, Jake Owen laughed with us that he was thinking of going out on Halloween as the Internet video sensation, the honey badger. Well, Jake’s now getting the honey-badger treatment for real, with the video’s original narrator, Randall, offering his badger-style narration over Jake’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” video! You can see it, right here! Meanwhile, Jake is on the radio with his hot new single, “Alone with You,” the second smash from his Barefoot Blue Jean Night album.
- In other Jake Owen news, Jake was officially announced earlier this week as a special guest on next summer’s Kenny Chesney/Tim McGraw 2012 ‘Brothers of the Sun’ stadium tour!
