  • Martina McBride‘s beautiful current single, “I Just Call You Mine,” returns to the ABC hit series The Bachelorette this coming Monday, July 27th, for the show’s two-hour season finale. After Martina performed the song on an episode earlier this year as part of a dream-date private concert, “I Just Call You Mine” will be back as the soundtrack to a video montage highlighting special moments from throughout the season. Be sure to catch the big show this Monday at 8pm, ET, on ABC. And by the way, you can find “I Just Call You Mine,” as well as Martina’s recent Top 10 hit, “Ride,” both on her chart-topping new album, Shine.
  • Brooks & Dunn have added another smash single to their catalogue of hits with the terrific “Indian Summer,” and fans will soon have two great ways to get the song. The digital single will hit your favorite online music store on August 11th, and “Indian Summer” will also be among the whopping 30 songs on B&D’s hit-packed double-disc collection, #1s … and then some, in stores September 8th!   • Birthday wishes go out to Jypsi‘s Amber-Dawn Rische, who celebrates on July 27th, while Martina McBride will be blowing out her candles on July 29th!
  • Jake Owen is rockin’ the radio with his powerhouse single, “Eight Second Ride,” and it was just announced this week that Jake will be performing the song on the upcoming ABC special, CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock. Jake’s performance is one of a star-studded line-up from the 2009 CMA Music Festival, with the three-hour TV special also set to include Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Brooks & Dunn, Kellie Pickler, Brad Paisley, and many more. Catch the show on August 31st, at 8pm, ET, on ABC. And be sure to pick up Jake’s new album, Easy Does It, home to “Eight Second Ride,” as well as Jake’s recent blockbuster, “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You.”
  • Time is running out for young fans to pick their favorites for the upcoming Teen Choice 2009 award show, where Carrie Underwood’s Carnival Ride album — packed with a whopping five number-one singles (”So Small,” “All-American Girl,” “Just a Dream,” “Last Name,” and “I Told You So”) — is competing in the all-genre category of Choice Music: Album (Female Artist).
