MORE GOOD STUFF…with Labor Day and more!

  • Congratulations to Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood who score this week’s number-one country airplay single with their Gold-certified smash, “Remind Me.” You can revisit some of their comments about the song in bites from the Prep Site archives, right here: http://prep.hearsomethingcountry.com/2011/07/07/brad-carrie-a-big-thumbs-up-from-mankind/, http://prep.hearsomethingcountry.com/2011/08/10/brad-carrie-kanyetwitty/. “Remind Me” is the latest favorite from Brad’s current album, This Is Country Music, which also includes the hit title track and the chart-topping “Old Alabama,” featuring Alabama.

  • And speaking of Labor Day, it’s just one day later — Tuesday, September 6th — when the final nominations are revealed for The 45th Annual CMA Awards! In Nashville, Jerrod Niemann and Thompson Square will be at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium to reveal the finalists in seven categories, while The Band Perry and Jake Owen in New York take to the airwaves to do the honors in five categories, live in the 8:30am, ET, half-hour on ABC’s Good Morning America. Don’t miss it — and be sure to watch for Jake’s performance of “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” during the show!
