- There’s been a lot of award news and fan-voting lately, but one fan vote that’s coming down to the wire is the run-up to determine the final nominees for the People’s Choice Awards 2012! Right now, fans can choose up to five favorites from the inital 12 nominees in each category, spanning movies, TV, and music, with Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, and others in the running in the music and tour categories. You can vote as often as you like, but only through the end of the day on Friday, October 28th! Go to www.pcavote.com to cast your votes! Final nominees will be announced on November 8th!

- Jake Owen will be in Music City this coming Tuesday, November 1st, as he headlines “Rockin’ & Raising the Green” at Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon. Hosted by HGTV’s Shane Tallant, the show benefits Evergreen (www.epmi.org), a multi-state organization helping individuals with disabilities.
