- The Hills Are Alive…and Recorded! Sony Masterworks announced this week the December 3rd release of the companion soundtrack to NBC’s live, three-hour broadcast of The Sound of Music, based on the original musical, and starring Carrie Underwood, Stephen Moyer, Audra McDonald, Laura Benanti, and Christian Borle. The album will include studio recordings of all of the songs performed by the cast members during the NBC broadcast, airing December 5th.
- Congratulations to Jake Owen, who was surprised with a plaque this week commemorating his latest career milestone: 1,000,000 Twitter followers!
