  • Warmest wishes to Brad Paisley and his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley on the news that they are expecting their second child! The Paisleys, who are already proud parents to their son, Huck — born in February of last year — are anticipating their new arrival in April.
  • The nominees for the 2008 American Music Awards were announced this week, with congratulations going out to Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, and Carrie Underwood among the big names in the country music categories! Brooks & Dunn are in the running for Favorite Band, Duo or Group, while Kenny and Brad are both up for Favorite Male Artist, and Carrie is vying for Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Album for Carnival Ride. Look for the show to air November 23rd on ABC Television…but the excitement is already underway now with fan voting determining the night’s winners online at amavote.com!

  • Happy birthday to Alan Jackson, who celebrates the big 5-0 this Friday, October 17th!
