- Season 7 American Idol finalist Kristy Lee Cook has signed a record deal with 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville, with her first single — the playful “15 Minutes of Shame” — hitting country radio on August 11! Between dates on the American Idols Live! Tour, Kristy Lee will be working on an album to be released this fall!
- Jason Michael Carroll will be among the stars helping us salute our troops on July 4th, as GAC re-airs its Memorial Day specials featuring hour-long blocks of videos dedicated to our servicemen and women. Catch Jason Michael in the episode airing at 4pm, ET. Fresh off a June tour with Carrie Underwood, Jason Michael will be joining Martina McBride on the road later this year and is currently climbing the charts with his good-time single, “I Can Sleep When I’m Dead,” the third hit from his debut album, Waitin’ in the Country.
- Kellie Pickler brightened the lives of our troops overseas with her visit to Iraq last year, and fans can re-live the experience with Kellie as GAC offers an Independence Day encore of her one-hour special, Kellie Pickler: My USO Diary (1pm, ET). Kellie is on the charts now with “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful,” the first single from her upcoming album…and…look for Kellie on the road later this year as she joins Sugarland on tour beginning September 13!
