Miranda Lambert is nominated once again for Female Vocalist Of The Year at this year’s CMA Awards. She’s been the reigning winner since 2010–and holds the record for the most wins in that category. Miranda is honored to be recognized for all her hard work, but she admits that all her success sometimes doesn’t even feel real. And even more, to her “sometimes I feel like I’m just getting started in my career, and sometimes I feel like I’ve been here for a really long time.” You can see if Miranda continues her streak on November 2nd, when the CMA Awards, which will be celebrating their 50th year, air live on ABC from Nashville, Tennessee.

“I mean it really doesn’t feel real, you know when you hear somebody say that, it’s just sometimes I feel like I’m just getting started in my career, and sometimes I feel like I’ve been here for a really long time but it’s moment that like that, that are so validating, and make you realize all the sacrifices, and work, heart, and energy, and time you put in…you know, people notice and they still want you to be part of this family. Because it is, like I said, so I mean I’m thrilled ever get to be part of anything that has to do with country music because it’s all I’ve ever done, it’s all I’ll ever do, it’s just makes up who I am.”
