Miranda Lambert welcomes NASCAR’s Danica Patrick as her co-star in her music video for “Fastest Girl in Town,” which just hit the airwaves today! Amid some high-speed driving action, the video finds Miranda and Danica causing a little trouble around town, and Danica says that she and Miranda had a great time together — and she could see the two of them stirring up some trouble in real life, too! • This is Miranda’s first music video without a vocal performance, where the video is completely “driven” by the storyline! She says, “I really get to act in the video. We have live sound and action scenes which feel more like a mini-movie than a music video.”

“Miranda was great! She asked me to do the video awhile back. When I got to the shoot, I was just…I appreciated her asking me, and every time somebody famous knows who I am, I always say, ‘I can’t believe you know my name!’ (laughs) And so she said, ‘Oh, yeah, I totally know who you are!’ She’s like, ‘For weeks now, it’s me and my trainer. It’s like goin’ to work out — for Danica.’ Danica workout, or just getting ready for the video. And so I was very flattered. She was really sweet. She’s got a lot of pep and a lot of spark. Her and I got along. I just kind of feel like her and I are sort of kindred spirits, and we could be trouble together. (laughs) As you’ll see when the video comes out.” (laughs)
