Maren Morris‘ new single “80s Mercedes” captures a spirit that she feels when she’s taking a road trip. Maren says that a lot of her songs have a road trip feel, because a lot of her song inspiration comes from when she’s in a car. Maren says that when she’s in her car “I’m just sort of free from the world for a second and so I tried to do a fun version of that feeling.”

“My song ’80s Mercedes’ was really inspired by the road. I think I have a lot of road trip songs because that’s where I get so inspired to write songs is in my car when I’m just sort of free from the world for a second and so I tried to do a fun version of that feeling.”
