MAREN MORRIS: Keeping Up Traditions

Maren Morris knows that country music is built upon great songs that fans can relate to in their own lives, and she looks to keep up that tradition with her music. Whether it’s “My Church,” “80s Mercedes,” or her latest single off her album, HERO, “I Could Use A Love Song,” Maren looks to make sure the stories her music tells is one that has a universal truth. Maren shares, “I think the one resounding theme in country music has always been just the connection to the lyric and the fan. So that has never really shaken. I think its evolved in ways, but from the beginning of country music time its always been about the story of the song, and so I definitely pay respect to that with my music.” Check out the story of “I Could Use A Love Song” by watching the music for it at Maren Morris dot com, or just click HERE
