This Wednesday at the CMT Music Awards Maren Morris‘ “My Church” video is nominated for Female Video Of The Year and Breakthrough Video Of The Year.

  Maren Morris can’t believe that she gets to go to this years’ CMT Music Awards as a nominee after going to the show in previous years as a fan. (:31)
“I mean, it’s a huge honor to be nominated because I put that video out not that long ago. I feel like being such a new artist, it’s just an honor to be nominated once, but not only once, it’s like being nominated twice so I think it’s really cool. I went to the CMT Awards, last year, and the year before. Just as an audience member, and I never dreamed of getting to actually go and be up for something so it’s a first for me.”

“It’s really humbling because I’ve never made a music video before, so with my very first music video to have it twice nominated it’s such an honor. It was such a fun video to make too, I had never made one before but you know me just pretending like I knew what I was doing the whole time, and getting to film it in my home state Texas, it was so much fun so the fact that it’s being honored is really amazing.”
