This past week Luke Combs was able to give back, and he says that’s what it’s all about. While the guy in Luke’s song, “When It Rains It Pours” wins a hundred bucks on a scratch off ticket, Luke was able to provide a little bit more to Camp Sunshine. Luke donated over 22 thousand dollars to the camp, based in Georgia, that’s a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses. The money donated was raised using the proceeds from his recently-launched VIP meet and greet program. Luke talks about the opportunity to give back thanks to his success, “It was great! Man, it’s a great feeling to be able to do that. Obviously that’s what you work for, sharing the wealth is part of the journey of getting here. So, I’m just thankful that I can help such a deserving organization.” This is the first of what Luke hopes will be many donations, and a lot more money for the kids at Camp Sunshine, as he will continue this program throughout his summer schedule.
