With appearances at all kinds of Music Festivals and Fairs this summer–including a spot at Lollapalooza–LANco and their super infectious summer anthem “Long Live Tonight” are gaining fans all over the place…including people who don’t like “Country Music.” We all know those kinds of people who say “oh, yeah–I like that song but I don’t like Country.” Well, LANco’s lead singer Brandon Lancaster hates to break this to those fans…if you like “Long Live Tonight,” you like Country Music. Brandon says that “if you’re listening to LANco you are listening to country music because that’s what were influenced by that’s who we are, that’s what we are, so sorry if you didn’t know it but if you’re listening to us you do you like country music.” Long Live Tonight…and Country Music.

“We gotten a lot of people who have come up after show or maybe they’ll tweet at us…some like that, it’s like ‘I don’t generally listen to Country Music, but I really dig you guys.’ That’s both a complement, it’s a complement to us, and we’re honored that anyone would like any aspect of our music, but that is hilarious when I hear people say that because I don’t think you can just completely cross off an entire genre and if you’re listening to LANco you are listening to country music because that’s what were influenced by that’s who we are, that’s what we are, so sorry if you didn’t know it but if you’re listening to us you do you like country music (laugh)”
