LANCO: Greatest Lessons Learned

The guys in LANCO are finding success as they are climbing the song charts–and this week inside the Top 5– with their song ‘Greatest Love Story.’ 2017 has been a big year for them, and 2018 looks to be even bigger, as they are gearing up to be a part of Chris Young’s Losing Sleep World Tour. Plus their debut album is also expected in the New Year. Working on that project with producer Jay Joyce has been a learning experience for LANCO. Lead singer Brandon Lancaster explains, “Jay was our first real professional recording experience and I think when you think about a studio you think about going to the studio there’s this aspect of kind of being precious you like envision people sitting down with chord charts and being perfect and having this perfect take and you know putting it down and having it recorded and putting it out there. For me Jay has taught me and I don’t want to speak for everyone but I think everyone would agree that like he’s taught us the aspect of being human and that the important thing about recording music is making it you you know you’re not he’ll always say like you’re not a robot you know he’ll make you stand up he’ll make you play like it’s a show.” To see these lessons portrayed in real life, fans can pick up tickets to see LANCO in concert in 2018 as they embark on the Losing Sleep World Tour.
