Brandon Lancaster from LANco believes that the band’s new single “Greatest Love Story” is very much rooted in the country music tradition of telling stories about everyday life. Brandon says “It’s a song about love lost, and love found again, and it’s something that a lot of people relate to.” Brandon is happy that this is their new song at country radio because, “we love country music and we are really excited about this song. We feel like we get to showcase the backbone of country music and the storytelling aspect of it. “We love all kinds of music and have influences from all kinds of music. But our common ground between all of us is country music and country music has such a history of storytelling and  relating to people’s stories and putting those stories to music. This is really a song that…it represents the reason that we are in country music which is telling people stories. It’s a song about love lost and love found again and it’s something that a lot of people relate to. A lot of our music is upbeat and anthemic and is rallying around the idea of rallying around the night. Which is great and we love that but it’s fun to be on the road and see people singing this song with us. Rallying around this common story that everyone seems to relate to. We love country music and we are really excited about this song we feel like we get to showcase the backbone of country music and the storytelling aspect of it. So it was really important to get this one out early so people can see another dynamic that we have.”
