KENNY CHESNEY: Thanks For A Great Summer!

audio

And that’s a wrap! Kenny Chesney ended his Spread The Love tour this weekend in Foxboro, Massachusetts with back to back shows on Friday and Saturday nights. Kenny is always blown away by his fans reaction to his shows, but it seems that the Gillette stadium crowds took things to a new level. Kenny shares that ‘what I felt tonight on stage was unlike anything that I think that I’ve ever heard before, it was just so loud.’ Kenny captured his thoughts on the show right after he exited the stage on Saturday…admitting that ‘I’m still in my sweaty show clothes’–but he was so excited by the crowd on the final Spread The Love tour stop, that he needed to share his thoughts with his fans. Kenny also took a moment to reflect on the entire run this year, saying “What a great amazing, fun summer that started in Auburn, Alabama…ended tonight here just a few minutes ago in Foxboro, Massachusetts and we couldn’t have ended it a better way.” Now that the work time is over–Kenny shared his next step, “Now we’re going to go jump in saltwater!” That saltwater trip will be a short one though–while his official tour is done, Kenny has one more stop this year. He’s playing the Bristol Motor Speedway with Old Dominion and The Band Perry on Friday September 9th! Then…it’s probably back to the saltwater for Kenny!

“Hey everybody, this is Kenny. I am on the bus and I am about a minute and a half from getting off the stage here in Foxboro Massachusetts…to close out the 2016 Spread The Love tour. I’m still in my sweaty show clothes and I can tell you that what I heard tonight, and what I felt tonight on stage was unlike anything that I think that I’ve ever heard before it was just so loud, and so beautiful, and it was a spiritual moment for us on stage tonight.”

“Tonight when we sang ‘She Comes From Boston’…was really loud, tonight after ‘American Kids’…it was really loud. It was really loud for the moment we walked on stage, and sang, and played the first note. So, I just want to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ for all the love that you gave us, tonight especially, and the last two nights here in New England, here in Foxboro…at the home of the New England Patriots. It’s gonna take me a while, if ever to get the ringing of your voices out of my ears. Thank you so much for the love tonight you gave us to close out the Spread The Love tour.”
