KENNY CHESNEY: Talkin’ ’bout Kix  Kenny Chesney recalls a very cool part of his show from his tour with Brooks & Dunn. (:34)
“When Kix and Ronnie [Dunn] was on the road with us several summers ago, my favorite part of the night is when Kix would come out there during my show with just his guitar, and we would, you know, sing a song together. And that was a fun part of the night for me. I looked forward to that moment every day, and sometimes it’d be the record that he had ‘You Better Kiss Me or You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone,’ or we would sing some other song, but it was always a part of the show — of my show — that I looked forward to and a part of the day that I looked forward to a lot because it was just stripped down, and it was a lot of fun.”

KENNY CHESNEY: Talkin’ ’bout Kix  Kenny Chesney says that he really looks up to Kix Brooks. (:22)
“Kix and I been friends a long time, and I really respect him a lot as a survivor in a business that’s hard to survive in, and I think the reason that he’s done that is because his foundation is from the songwriting end of it, and he treats people very, very well, and he’s treated me great. And I look up to Kix a lot.”
