KENNY CHESNEY: Old Is New Again

audio

Kenny Chesney is very happy to have Old Dominion back out on the road this year. After being on last year’s tour, Kenny tapped Old Dominion for the Spread The Love tour, and has them out on every date. Of course a lot has happened to Old Dominion since last year–they had their debut single “Break Up With Him” go to number-one, they released their first album Meat and Candy, and their current single “Snapback” is sitting inside the top 5 this week. Plus Brad and Matthew from Old Dominion were 2 of the 3 co-writers of Kenny’s number-one song “Save It For A Rainy.” The Spread The Love tour rolls through Connecticut this weekend where fans can hear Old Dominion open for Kenny Chesney.

“Old Dominion, I am very glad to have them back out on the road again with us, they toured with us last summer and they were the first people on in the stadiums. And now they are moving up a spot or two and so they’ve been doing really well they’ve had a great year, they are working really hard and I think they are really connecting with their audience, and building their audience slowly but surely. You know they are great songwriters. A couple of those guys wrote ‘Save It For A Rainy Day’ for me, and I’m sure there will be several nights this summer where we get up on stage and do that song together. So I’m excited to have them out.”
