KENNY CHESNEY: Number-One Album!

Congrats goes out to Kenny Chesney who has the best selling album this week! Live! In No Shoes Nation is not just the best selling album in country music, but it’s the best selling album of all genres! Organizing and releasing the collection of live tracks was a very personal project for Kenny, so he was very happy to hear that it was being received well by the fans….because for him, that’s truly who the album is for and about. Kenny shares, “When you work so hard on a project, especially on a project that is so much about connection with your audience, you hope that when you release that they feel that connection and that they take that music and live with it and I can’t tell you how excited I am when I found out you know after we’ve released this after people finally get to hear it, and get to hear themselves, all these markets that we played you know they can hear themselves singing along on all these songs, the fact that it’s doing so well and that it just makes all the hard work worth it, it makes the year of going through the hard drives worth it, it makes… in a way validates that whole ten year period of your life. All those shows that you went through and all those really special moments that are on this record with Taylor (Swift) or Dave (Matthews) or Eric (Church) or David Lee Murphy or you know Grace Potter and Zac Brown, all these people that were a part of my life that let me into their life and were a part of our life also, you know those moments were so special and the connection with my audience is so unique. It just makes me feel really good that what I worked on for over a year and cared so much about is being so well received.Live! In No Shoes Nation is available now.
