KENNY CHESNEY: Good Advice

audio

CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee Kenny Chesney continues to rocket up the charts with his latest smash, “Save It for a Rainy Day” — and while Kenny sings about taking time to set your troubles aside, he admits that he hasn’t always followed that advice. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)

  • This Friday, Kenny will be in Las Vegas as part of the star-packed line-up of performers for the two-night iHeartRadio Music Festival. And while the event is sold-out, you can watch a live stream of the show via Yahoo Live on both nights, September 18th and 19th, at 10pm, ET.
  • Kenny just recently wrapped up his record-setting 2015 tour, and this week, he started whetting appetites for next year with the news that Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt, and Old Dominion will join him for his stadium shows in 2016! We’ll be on the lookout for more news and dates as they roll out!
  • And…the first stadium show of Kenny’s 2016 tour has already been announced for April 23rd as Kenny headlines the first-ever concert at Alabama’s Jordan-Hare Stadium, home of the Auburn Tigers since 1939. The show is in conjunction with the inaugural Music & Miracles Superfest, created and presented by the founders of the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation.
    – In a press announcement, Kenny said, in part, “Every time I get to play somewhere with the kind of history Auburn has, it pushes me a little harder to really raise the bar. And the mission and heart behind Music & Miracles raises that bar higher still.”
    – The Music & Miracles Superfest will raise funds for two of the greatest needs of the Auburn community, with concert proceeds targeted to fighting cancer and feeding the hungry. For more information, visit MusicAndMiracles.com.
Kevin and Stacy Brown, founders of the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation, shared, “Our vision for the Music & Miracles Superfest is to make history, to make music, and to make miracles. And from the initial concept, we hoped that Kenny would accept our invitation and share our passion. The fact that he committed immediately after hearing about our big dreams showed us that not only is Kenny one of the most successful entertainers of our time, but his heart is as big as his star power.”
  • “Save It for a Rainy Day” is the newest smash from Kenny’s hit-filled The Big Revival album, which also includes “Til It’s Gone” and the CMA Award-nominated “American Kids” and “Wild Child.”

“I like to think that I’ve lived my life like that, but I will tell ya that sometimes I have done the complete, exact opposite of this (laughs), but I’ve also lived this song a lot, too.”
