KENNY CHESNEY: And They’re Always Glad You Came

audio

Kenny Chesney thinks that it’s not just him that seeks out bars at the end of the world…everyone does. Kenny believes that “there’s something about our human behavior where we want to go to a place, any place, in our mind or a physical place that’s a bar at the end of the world and feel that our life somehow was stamped in a small way.” Just like he sings about in his hit song “Bar At The End Of The World” people want to know that dollar is still stuck to the wall or ceiling the same way it was when they placed it there. To have that, that “we were here” moment, is something everyone likes to have in their life.

audio  Kenny Chesney thinks there’s a bit of human behavior in the lyrics of his song “Bar At The End Of The World.” (:33)
“I just think there’s something about our human behavior where we want to go to a place, any place, in our mind or a physical place that’s a bar at the end of the world and feel that our life somehow was stamped in a small way. Somewhere that beautiful or somewhere that cool or just anywhere actually. Just to know that someone knew we were there that’s why we all do it. That’s why it’s just such a grounding moment when you stamp your life and they know that you and your buddies were there and there is something really cool and wonderful about that.”
