Kenny Chesney talks about the universal feeling of his latest hit, “When I See This Bar.” (:32)
“I think that all of us have a group of friends and a time of our life and this place that we all kind of leaned on during that time. For me, it was a bar in the Virgin Islands, and I think everybody has that bar, whether you’re in college or whether you’re a group of guys that get off work and go to some honky-tonk, and you’ve been goin’ there for years. You know, but next thing you know, you’re not in those circle of friends, or…you know, life has a way of moving us along in different paths, one way or another.”
