“Hey this is Karley Scott Collins and this is my song Better Strangers.”
“So Better Strangers was inspired by me reading a collection of Shakespeare stories. And he said the line, I do desire that we may be better strangers. And that really resonated with me because it was exactly how I was feeling having just gone through a breakup with someone who I wish that I could go back in time and have never even met. So I brought that song to Liz Rose. I brought her the chorus and then we finished the rest of the song and that song one of my favorite lines in it is, I wish I could meet the girl I’d be if I didn’t know you. Which basically means that kind of we’ve all gone through that heartbreak that changed us completely and made us look at everything in life differently after that. So I think everyone can relate to that.”
