“I wrote Tattoos with two of my favorite co writers ever. Brock Berryhill and Brett James. It was actually one of my first writes ever over zoom when COVID started. So it was a big adjustment. But it was one of those things where an idea just kind of pops into your head and I had the hook of the song and I went into the write and we wrote it together and I’ve loved it ever since then.”
“So I don’t have any tattoos because I am deathly afraid of needles, I pass out when I get my blood drawn. But I have always been a big fan of tattoos and tattoo artists like Tommy Montoya and Fred Thomas and actually have a couple books on tattoo design at home. I’ve always admired them.”
