“The inspiration for ‘Lose it’ I think just came- it by itself.  Man, we started writing it and it was talking about losing things and that just ended up being the chorus because we were going to ‘Lose It.’  Really the tempo is what makes this song so great to me.  It’s the tempo and the melodies and the different chord changes and it’s just a fun song.”

NASHVILLE, TN – Breakthrough artist and three-time Teen Choice nominee Kane Brown recently released “Lose It,” his first single and video from his sophomore album confirmed for release November 9.

This week, “Lose It” officially impacts country radio with 85 first-week stations (Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase combined), marking Brown’s career best add week total comprised of over half the airplay chart reporting panel.  Written by Brown, Chase McGill and Will Weatherly, and produced by multiple-award-winner Dann Huff, “Lose It” reached #1 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart last week, becoming the best-selling paid download country song after its first full week of availability. Also, the “Lose It” music video, directed by Alex Alvga and produced by Jennifer Ansell with Tiny Terror Productions, has already garnered over 1 millions views in less than a week’s times since its release.

Kane Brown recently scored three final nominations for the Teen Choice Awards which will air live on FOX 7-9 pm Central Time/8-10 pm Eastern Time, Sunday, August 12th. Brown is up for “Choice Country Song – Heaven,” “Choice Summer Male Artist” and “Choice Country Artist.” Voting is open now and closes Thursday, June 28, 11 am Central Time/12 Eastern Time for Wave 2 categories which include “Choice Country Song” and “Choice Summer Male Artist.” for which Brown is nominated.
